You know you need:
– A new eyeglass prescription
– To read fewer blogs and/or fairy tales
– More sleep
– To cut back on the cold medicine
… when you search for directions on Google, see “This route has TROLLS,” and accept that fact as perfectly normal, if a bit disturbing.
I mean, how are you supposed to get anywhere on time if trolls are delaying your trip?

Trolls like to eat eggs and chickens, so you can be prepared.
haha! What kind of trolls were you picturing, the nasty fairy-tale kind or those of the treasure variety?
BAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
hahahaha oh dear!!!
I’m sure you don’t need glasses. Maybe some coffee? I’m pretty sure it says tolls. But I’m sure you know that, so maybe this post is a joke that just went over my head, in which case, *I* need the coffee (I will not deny that!)
But I lol’d. Have you checked out the one that says “driving directions from California to Tokyo” and it says “Swim across Pacific ocean?”
Happy new year!
Yep, I need the coffeee…I’ll put that on the record! How socially awkward of me.
Heehee! Thanks for commenting! 🙂
Haha! When I saw the title of this post, I totally thought it was going in a different direction 🙂
But what does “this route has trolls” even mean??
I honestly don’t know. But I was willing to go with it.
No more codeine for you!! Ha!
AWESOME! Tolls and trolls both suck though!
Those darn trolls. Interrupting bridge travel for decades.
I first glanced at the bold type and also saw trolls, which I thought was neat.
Then I looked at the starting/ending points to see what it was–completely expecting a reference to a bridge of some sort or maybe some other fairy tale reference–kinda like the directions for South Detroit to Anywhere (It totally used to have one direction saying, “Take the midnight train.” I’m sure you can still find a screen shot online–Awesome!)
Then I realized it was not a google joke and I was a little sad. But then! But then I realized the directions involved A2 which is not far from us and I was geeked out again by the possibility that you and your doctor may be so close to me and my doctor. Not because we’ll ever meet in real life, but because so often your blog entries parallel our lives in a “that’s a weird cowinkidink” way.
Stumbled over here from elsewhere and am a fellow-worrier (your previous post.) I, too, know there is NO point but… welll… um. I love that there are trolls on the route. Did you see them?
Here’s to a worry-free 2010!
Shiny x
Trolls – not cool. Now KNOLLS would be a completely different story 🙂
Ann Arbor is like 1.5 hours from me, maybe.
Thank goodness I wasn’t taking a drink of water while reading this – It definitely would have come out of my nose! My home is close to your route…only a little out of your way! 🙂
hahaha oh my! Yes, I think maybe a pair of glasses would be slightly beneficial 😉
I totally read that as trolls too. I guess I need new glasses.
