What’s on your lists?

  1. Love this list! I am pretty much with you on the 10 I want to do but won’t expend energy to do so list … I think I’ll repost with my own list later today/weekend 🙂

  2. My lists would look incredibly similar to yours! I’m a huge tomato hater, to the extreme (no sauce, no chunks, no paste, no thank you), and I so wish I could eat things that are tomato-y. I often feel like a whiny 12 year old.

  3. ooh, may I borrow this idea for a blog post?

I cannot wear ruffles either. I look like a girl wearing a bib.

  4. I always try to french-braid my own hair but I just cannot do it and I tried on skinny jeans this past weekend and wouldn’t even let Russ see. awful.idea.

My first list would look very similar to your with the exception of both numbers 8, 9 and 10. Black coffee is my drug in the mornings. I love tomatoes and love the summer time when I can get them fresh and don’t need anything but a pinch of salt on them….YUM (you can blame it on me being Italian).

  5. I work on a college campus and all these adorable young women wear skinny jeans tucked into their boot and they look so cute. But I put on skinny jeans and it comes to my attention that my ass is A LOT wider than my ankles and I am not adorable. So every day I looked at these young women in jealousy and slink back to my old person cave where I still wear boot cut jeans. That is all.

  6. I like how the title of your last list was “Things that I want to do and WILL DO.” Great mindset.

PS I will be first in line for your book of poems and/or novel

  7. Fun post! I successfully kicked the diet coke habit a few years ago. It was haaaard but worth it. And I think skinny jeans are the devil! At least you know you can’t wear them and don’t try. There’s a girl I work with who wears them regularly and sooooo should not be.

  8. Oh, I love your lists! I, too, cannot argue or confront anyone without crying. Even my husband. I feel like I look weak because of this, and I hate it, but all my emotions come out through my eyes, I swear. There is just no getting around it.

I also would love to exercise every day, but meh- just can’t get there. lol.

And so cool about your novel! Me too!! I’ve been wanting to write one since high school (and a screenplay too). I hope we both do it!!

  9. Strangely similar to the list of things I can’t do – cat eyes, good braids, and cutting in a straight line. I used to teach preschool and the three-year-olds could cut better than I could. NOT even exaggerating.

  10. Are we twins? hahaha. Especially with your first two lists. Tomatoes, braiding, makeup, skinny jeans, not crying during a confrontation, and I ALWAYS need bandaids after wearing shoes for any length of time. Which is a problem since I’m on my feet so much. haha

And, can I buy an advanced copy of your book? I really like your short stories and even some of your blog posts are poetic and I love them. Also, will you have a book signing so I can come? hehe
