Tomorrow is Turkey Day, Internet!
While feasting on roasted turkey and traditional dressing and garlic-and-goat-cheese mashed potatoes, I know I will be looking around the table at my in-laws and my husband, or speaking on the phone with my parents or brother, thinking of the many ways I’ve been blessed.
I hope your Thanksgiving is full of laughter, family, deliciousness, and love.
In honor of the day, I leave you with a poem by Charles Reznikoff:
Te Deum
By Charles Reznikoff
Not because of victories I sing, having none, but for the common sunshine, the breeze, the largess of the spring. Not for victory but for the day's work done as well as I was able; not for a seat upon the dais but at the common table.

Good luck! And happy Thanksgiving!
Good luck with the cooking. And better luck in keeping everyone else out of the kitchen.
You will be a wonderful hostess and your food will taste delicious! (but some added “good luck!” never hurt anyone, right?)
I can’t wait for the recap! In the meantime, have a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend!
Good luck with all the cooking!
